Being a woman and in your 40s can be a challenge for many different reasons. As you age, health concerns will definitely become more apparent than when you were younger. Here are some common health risks that women may begin to face as they reach the age of 40 and beyond.

Diabetes

It should be no surprise that diabetes is a health concern, but Type II is not uncommon in women in their 40s, as changes in hormones may present challenges. Of course, the perfect remedy to weight gain and unhealthy living is by way of eating healthy foods and getting exercise.

Heart Disease

It is something that is difficult to type: heart disease kills more women annually in the United States than any other disease or malady.
